As a long-time horse owner and passionate advocate of our dwindling wild American horses, I selected this photo from a wild horse photographer who I follow and admire (with permission); she documents the Salt River band in Arizona. I created this painting in order to bring awareness to the constant plight of the survival of our treasured wild horses a true icon in America.
