Alkyd(fast drying oil) on brushed metal- brass in this case
A composition inspired by the unusual perspective of a hat can and the shadows of the riders
Metal is ‘drawn on’ first with a flap wheel grinder to create the reflective pattern which in this case is the direction of the sun
Paint is then applied in thin glazes with some details sgrafitto’d in to finish
