Taken at just just hours old, this baby was still wet when I came across them in a field of mares and foals in Iceland. As I approached quietly and carefully, all of the mares took their babies up on a ridge away from me, but having just been born, this pair were unable to follow. I just sat down and just watched quietly for about an hour. Just the 3 of us in an amazing morning of stillness. Happy birthday little one, what a gift you gave me.
