During a polo match I caught some of the action with my phone. One photo really spoke to the fast pace and brilliant horsemanship on display. I wanted to express this excitement in a dynamic way by eliminating all but the highlights on a black background. This gives the sense of energy and makes it feel electric.
The rider is wearing #1. The #1 player is the least experienced player. His task is to play defense against the player wearing #4 on the opposing team. The #4 player is the most experienced. This rider is taking a sharp turn in order to block #4 from scoring.
